1. In the poems "Simile", "Moon Rondeau", "Woman" the authors thoroughly dimonstrated the ups and downs that takes place in relationships. The authors of the poem vividly showed how not all relationships are peaches and cream. In Simile, Scott Momaday gave an example of a couple who is mad at each other and is now going their own ways. This is a prime example of how all relationships might not go the way you planned. Now this poem "Moon Rondeau" this shows a couple who prefers to spend their life together instead of arguing. And finally the poem "Woman" written by Nikki Giovanni, demonstrated the individuality of an woman. In these poems he authors shows how each relationship has its ups and downs but some way you have to get through it.

In all three poems the author's explain how love seem so flawless and strong in the beginning. In all poems toward the end the mood changes and the authors perception of love becomes a negative painful feeling. In "Simile" the difference in how the mood changes is like it transitions from happiness to anger. In "Moon Rondeau" the mood changes from being so in love and greatful to bitterness and lonelyness. In "Woman" the author describes how love is so hard and strong and compared to so many things to how love is wasted and being unappreciated.
